Pro Bono

Mr. Aron R. Camponovo is thoroughly committed to the principle of pro bono representation as a community service.

Work time is allocated on a regular basis to discrimination cases, notably under the light of Swiss Constitutional Rights and of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.

"Constitutional Rights" are defined under Part II of the Swiss Constitution."Human dignity" (art. 7 Cost.), "Protection Against Discrimination and Arbitrariness" (art. 8 and 9 Cost.), "Social Rights" (art. 12, 19 and 29 Cost.), "Procedural Due Process" (art. 29, 29a, 30, 31 and 32 Cost.) and "Civil Liberties and Freedoms (art. 18-36 Cost.), together with art. 36 Cost. ("Restrictions on Fundamental Rights"), represent the body of the "Constitutional Rights" under Swiss Law.

The Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms is an international Treaty to protect human rights and fundamental freedoms. 47 European States are Parties to the Convention.
